Dr. Debra Saliba is the Associate Director for Education, overseeing our VA fellowship programs directly (Veterans Administration Health Services Research Fellowship & the National Clinician Scholars Program) and through others (Veterans Administration Women’s Health & Associated Health Fellows). A former VA HSR&D Career Development Awardee and current President of the American Geriatrics Society, she is an internationally recognized expert in geriatrics and a physician with the VA Geriatric Research and Education Clinical Center (GRECC). She is the Center’s Long Term Care/Aging Strategic Program Area Lead, a VA GLA Healthcare System and UCLA Professor of Medicine, Director of the UCLA Borun Center for Gerontological Research and RAND Senior Scientist.
